Auntie Melissa 5.25.21

Gather ‘round children, it’s time for Auntie Melissa to bestow some nuggets of knowledge!

Auntie Melissa has been pretty quiet lately; she knows this must have hurt your heart, since you exist to partake of her knowledge. But it’s been a rough… decade…. and sometimes we all need a little time to self reflect

Well that time is over. Snap out of it. Auntie Melissa is ready to share the following with you, for no apparent rhyme or reason:

  • Sometimes Auntie Melissa eats cereal for dinner. And sometimes, she ends up having to eat two kinds of cereal since SOMEONE in the household was eating the Apple Jacks. Before she proceeds to the Frosted Flakes, Auntie Melissa has to pour out the Apple Jack milk to then have Frosted Flake milk. The two shall never mix. The OCD says this is so.

  • Sometimes one of Auntie Melissa’s dogs brings with them the stiff carcass of a baby snake when they come in from the backyard. This is not okay behavior but she was just thankful that the snake was dead and not still enacting its ‘nope rope’ life while in the middle of the living room.

  • SOMETIMES THE CHILDREN SHOULD START OUT WITH ‘THE SNAKE IS DEAD’ BEFORE THEY ANNOUNCE THERE IS A SNAKE IN THE LIVING ROOM.

  • Sometimes, Auntie Melissa’s grown, adult daughter sneaks a newly adopted dog into the mix of animals at the house. Although said dog looks to be an exact mix of the two dogs that Auntie Melissa currently has (did I mention the snake?!) it was still evident that there was an extra dog.

What have we learned you ask? Well, we’re still looking for the Apple Jack thief and dogs that maybe provide wine delivery versus carcasses. Auntie Melissa evidently has a couple of dogs she could trade for the above.

Auntie Melissa is out. Peace!
